Camping Stoves for an enjoyable outoor experience
Cooking on camp stoves can be a little tricky sometimes. After all, it’s not like turning on the stove at home.
The stoves you use can be anywhere from a Coleman ( probably the most recognized name) to a pocket chef.
Some folks like the tri-pod grill which is a 2 piece grill with tripod legs that supports
a nickel plated grill. It’s easy to use as you can slide the grill up and down making it ideal
for making coffee or to raise or lower a kettle as needed. One of it best features is that it
breaks down into a small caring unit.
Grids are popular to put over the coals and can fold u with weights of about 1 pound.
To help the taste, consider using hickory chips to provide flavor. These come in various
sizes. One called a pack grill which is small and can be used for backpacking.

The most popular item we had and it sold very well
was the sterno stove. It was a fold up kit with a fold up
stove, 2 cans of steno and a book of matches. Excellent
item for emergency use.
A down side to sterno is that it evaporates, so check
your kit every few months or so to make sure that it is
still usuable.

This lightweight stove is very compact and ideal for the backpacker. You can be cooking in 30 seconds,
so it is ideal if you are hungry. It can also boil 1 liter of water in 7 minutes.
Then there is a single burner stove that threads on fuel supply. Its a mountain lite stove. Great for backpackers
This lightweight stove is made of stainless steel. It has a foldout pot support for larger cooking surfaces.
Fuel canisters
Fuel canisters come in various sizes. Some come threaded and some come as punture cans. If you are
not using canisters (which is probably the easiest way to go) and need a fuel bottle, nalgene put out some nice
ones in pint an quart sizes.They come with a self storing pour spout. Also if you are using liquid fuel, don't forget
the funnel.
Swedish denatured alcohol camp stove
