Doing down at home.

Wash in cold water but not in a machine that has an agitator, Use mild soap or woolite, maybe a sport wash. No detergents. Rinse bag thourghly in clean water removing all soap residue. repeat if necesssary After soap residue has been removed, drip dry or tumble dry with no heat setting. Be patient, this could take sometime Check often not to damage dryer or bag. Putting something in with the bag to bring back the loft. Maybe a tennis shoe or tennis ball etc..

Synthetic bag

Do not dry clean, this could damage the bag. Close tabs etc. Wash in cold water with mild soap, NO detergents. Throughly rinse, repeat if necessary. Drip dry or use tumble in no heat dryer check often

storing store bag

The same as we mentioned with your tent, make sure tath the bag is dry before storing. Compressing storage will cause it to lose loft. Store in cool dry place. spread bag out or hang on hanger in a breatheable location. Maybe under your bed may work.

Draft collars especially useful when camping in cooler weather.
