TIPS ON SOCK CARE
It is important to take proper care of your socks if you want them to take care of you.
The first tip is something my wife does with my sweat shirts—wash them inside out.
When I asked my wife why she does that, she said it helps prevent pilling. Well guess
what, the same is true for your socks. Oh by the way, it also gets rid of anything that
is in the inside of the sock that shouldn’t be there..
The second tip is to use warm water to get rid of bacteria. Not hot, especially if they are
synthetic materials. They could have a tendency to shrink or melt.
Here’s another tip on sock care--------Never use bleach as this can destroy the sock. Another tip: Don’t use a fabric softener as this could clod up the fabric and stop its’wicking ability. Still another tip: If you are going to dry them in a dryer, use low heat to prevent fabrics from shrinking or melting (some of the synthetic kinds).
It may sound funny, but if you use these tips on sock care, your socks they will take care of
your feet and you will be a happy camper.
